Leaves Shadow

Eun Se Baik is a PhD Candidate in Sociology at Harvard University. Eun Se's research falls at the intersection of education, immigration, and transnational processes and centers on the experiences of Asians and Asian Americans. She examines the education of immigrants as well as education in their countries of origin, and she explores how the educational norms, practices, and institutions of home and host countries of immigration are shaped and reshaped transnationally. She is particularly interested in how migrant and non-migrant students’ and parents’ educational strategies are shaped by the interconnection of local contexts and global influences.
